Last night we had a storm, and it was spectacular. A brilliant orange covered the sky like a fire burning angrily in the distance; but the anger was in the sky. Flash after flash. Deep rumbling. Surreal, other-worldly sensations vibrating at their highest possible intensity. Incredible.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Crissy!
DeleteThese are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I always miss my chance whenever there is a lightening storm! I just haven't got the setting right!
You'll have to teach me :)
Lightning storms are so rare! I wish I had longer to prepare and go somewhere with a better lookout, I'd like to practice long exposures more so I know what I'm doing next time one comes along.
DeleteHoly smokes! These are gorgeous. Love that first shots so much.
ReplyDeleteOh! I love thunderstorms. Sadly, we just don't get them in this part of California. We're happy if we even get rain.
ReplyDeleteHowever, back home in TN, we'd get thunderstorms all of the time and I always loved them and would go sit outside to watch. :)
LOVE these images and the colors! WOW.
I CAN'T EVEN GET ONE LIGHTNING BOLT and you got this many?!?! Oh my goodness and they're so well-shot, too; the colors are amazing! You are so talented!!

Thank you, Carly! It was the biggest storm we've seen in a long time, so much lightening which luckily gave me a reasonable percentage of catching some, it was tough though! I had a lot of photos of just lit up sky. You're very kind!
DeleteIncredible photos! Storms are beautiful and you really captured this one well.
