Last winter. It was still dark when we left home, and when we reached The Grampians National Park to go hiking, despite being unable to see any of the usual distant views, nothing past a few metres, it was one of the most beautiful experiences and one of my favourite days ever. Never underestimate the pure power of something you initially think as a burden - it might surprise you.
